Despite flooding rains earlier in the year throughout the Grampians region, the landscape is looking beautiful and the 74th annual Grampians Wildflower Show is set to break attendance records!

Show Highlights

  • Dozens of woodland, heathland, wetland and threatened wildflower species from the Grampians National Park.
  • Other rare and wonderful wildflower species from the greater Wimmera region.
  • Experts on hand to talk about what’s flourishing after the floods and how the changing landscape has impacted on the wildflowers.
  • Children’s craft corner where the kids can create a piece of art from natural fibres.
  • Roving environmental entertainers ‘The Connies’ (Fri & Sat) make learning about the environment fun!
  • Marysville fibre artist of botanical embroidery, Lynne Stone in action.
  • Representatives of Parks Victoria, Friends of Grampians & Wimmera Catchment Management Authority.

Wildflower Tours

If you’re keen to see the wildflowers and orchids in their natural environment, our experts will take you on a Wildflower Tour. To be held twice daily at 10.15 am and 2pm, the tours will take guests to wildflower hot spots where they can walk amongst the flowers, take photos and absorb the natural beauty of the Grampians National Park. Tour prices are $4 per person and must be booked and paid for on the day. Numbers strictly limited. For those who prefer to tour independently, we will have written drive and walk suggestions.

Open Times & Ticket Prices

The show is open 9.30am to 4.30pm daily. Entry is $7 ($6 concession) per person and 50 cents children for Under 16.

Getting Here

The event will be held at Centenary Hall, Halls Gap, which can be accessed from Stawell, Ararat and Horsham. Please note that after the January floods there are still some road closures so please check www.vicroads.vic.gov.au before your journey or call the Halls Gap Visitor Information Centre on 1800 065 599.
